Anything toxic such as meat, milk, caffeine, alcohol, or anything with too much salt, sugar, saturated fat or starch will not be on the menu. It will also contain other foods which are helpful in clearing the body of toxins. These include pectin, which is a binding agent, and psyllium fiber, which is a bulking agent recommended for helping to finally remove the toxins from the body.
A detox program of this type can easily last for two or three weeks, and if it does it will be best to phase out the psyllium and pectin before the end. Also, in the last week you can begin bringing in some of those foods you have had to cut out while the fast was taking place. It goes without saying that it is still better to eat sensibly, but you don't need to be quite so restrictive as during the early stages of your cranberry juice detox.
